A Concert, Dublin, and a Wedding

The past few days have been FULL of activity!

Last week, Laura A and I went to see Regina Spektor. Jupiter One opened for her and they had some pretty catchy music and were funny to watch. Regina was great as always! Here's a picture of her... (not the best but it'll do!)

Over the weekend, Mike and I piled into the car with Mitzi and Danny to meet Jon and Shellie for Amy and Ogden's wedding. We stopped in Dublin on our way for some Dublin Dr. Pepper and to stop in an antique shop.

Lemon Shrimp Scampi

On Sunday I made this lemon shrimp scampi by Melissa d'Arabian of the Food Network. I made only small changes... medium sized shrimp weren't available so I had to go with small ones and I didn't make my own seafood stock (I swapped in vegetable stock instead). Pretty good... I think the olive oil could be decreased... depending on how much you like. I used 4 tablespoons to marinate and cook. Four are necessary to coat all the shrimp when marinating but I think I will decrease it by another tablespoon (using only 3) for the cooking part. We ate the pasta with salad and Italian bread.

Baby Grace has finally made her debut! She arrived Tuesday, November 3 at 6:40 p.m. She's adorable!

Stephanie is already working on imparting her fashion wisdom to the little one by dressing her all in pink on day 2.

I can't wait to see the new mom and little bug next month!
