I LOVE making bread. I love the way it makes the place smell and I love that its easy (well, most of the time). I also love that I know exactly what is in it. The recipe has 8 ingredients. If you look on the bread bag, there will be more. Mine included lots of the same ingredients but also had lots of preservatives and long words that don't even sound like food.
I'm super excited to use this bread for sandwiches this week. Mine had a hard time rising... probably due to the chilly apartment. The recipe from Smitten Kitchen/The Bread Baker's Apprentice can be found
